On a cold winter’s evening recently, I was sitting at my desk, warm and well fed, listening to my husband read to two of our grandsons over the computer. The boys’ voices were light and eager and my husband filled the storytelling with excitement and suspense. Earlier that evening we had watched a video of the youngest grandson taking some of his first, tentative steps and although we are lucky enough to live near all of this family, it sometimes surprises me that technology can still manage to help us connect. I hope that the recent holiday provided opportunities for you to connect with family and friends either in person or virtually!
In literary news, the final novel in the Audrey Markum, Photographer series has just been released! Filling in the Shadows completes the trilogy which began in Audrey’s childhood and continued into her adult life as a wedding and police photographer. I hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know her in the first two, books, but if you’re new to the series, no worries. Each novel stands alone and you can always read the latest one before going back to learn more about her!
