February in Michigan has finally given us some temperatures above freezing and blue skies with sunlight that sends the true natives out in their shorts. As a transplant, I’m unable to go that far, but I certainly appreciate it all the same. Here we are watching for signs of spring with the confidence and optimism of a truck-loving toddler on garbage day. We know it will come if we just keep checking!
